That's why I use a polariser. Good raptor, I mean capture. I'm not sure I like these birds as they target garden songbirds and I've been watching too many YouTube videos of raptors ripping birds apart alive, I suppose that's nature
In Ireland I've only ever seen Kestrals in rural areas and buzzards in the city including seeing large seagulls attacking them and chasing them away, presumably it is was fledgling season.

And yes, we live in a very rural, hilly area and that is life around here.

Was it there I seen in a documentary that it has a radioactive cave/mine that people visit for health therapy? Maybe I'm getting mixed up with some cold war history?

I believe the cave you are referring to is in Montana, not California.
