That's a case for such a wide angle as the full rainbows are 'the' subject and interest. Otherwise 14mm makes everything too tiny.I manage to capture a complete rainbow

It's hard to beat, I can't be bothered with primes and I think the idea is out of date, been there done all that, I once owned 7x 28mm primes... Madness and I started hating photography... Too much completely unnecessary gearLove the rendering of the 24-105
At Fuji there was a much bigger gap. But with Lumix I love the zooms very much, and the primes as well. Today got the 50/1.8 as well (exchanged for Sigma 45). The 1.8 still is a big difference indoors. Love to take portraits with them or to constraint myself. It's hard to beat, I can't be bothered with primes and I think the idea is out of date, been there done all that, I once owned 7x 28mm primes... Thanx! You should see some of the wetter ones!Really beautiful, I love the 2nd one with the bokeh balls from the water spray on the lens, it makes the photo!
Yosemite... The land of Ansel Adams
Yeah, I didn't mean the speed advantage, mostly referring to the same apertures. At Fuji there was a much bigger gap. But with Lumix I love the zooms very much, and the primes as well. Great photos Xavier!Three pictures with the Lumix 14-28mm. I like a lot this lens... for video too:

It is about a four hour drive for me, but I haven't been there in quite a while. It may be time to plan a trip.I visited Yosemite many years ago in winter and stayed at the Awwahnee Hotel. Absolutely magic place.
30 minutes to the South gate for me!It is about a four hour drive for me, but I haven't been there in quite a while. It may be time to plan a trip.
Cool, I've been to California after cycling from Florida, cycled through Compton and South Central and back in 1998 apparently that was a bad idea but we didn't know anything about LA30 minutes to the South gate for me!
Very nice photos. That 28-200mm lens is starting to tempt me...Today my wife and I went to Enkhuizen, also an old dutch city with a nice port.
Normally I would make a video, but I have tu much to edit anyway... So this time only a few photos.
All shot with the S5iiX and the 28-200mm
Thank you.Very nice photos. That 28-200mm lens is starting to tempt me...
I am curious to see the image quality at 625mm with the hybrid zoom feature of the Lumix S9.
First pictures shared on LMF!
I was chuffed that my Lumix 70-300 F4.5 - F5.6 arrived yesterday so I could test it out this weekend. Thanks Dirk for sending it so quickly!
In fact it made me get up at 5.30am to get a few shots of the sunrise at our local park.
I really like the lens, nice and sharp, not too heavy and the rendering is superb. It pairs well with my S1R. I used to use my G9 paired with the Panaleica 50-200 F2.8 - F4 lens for these sorts of shots. I can see large improvements: easier to crop, more dynamic range (particularly for these sort of shots), the RAW files are sucj a joy to edit, and I love the colour reproduction of the S1R (never liked the greens and magenta tones of the G9, which I always found difficult to edit).
All pictures below are taken with a S1R + 70-300 (expect one).
Very nice. Love the backlit shots with the ducks!First pictures shared on LMF!

This one below was cropped heavily but very sharp despite being shot at F13 and at ISO400. Not my usual style but nice to see that the half-macro ability of this lens is no gimmick!
