Is it just me, or does the water level look high in this pic? (I think it's because that dock looks like it's sitting very low in the water...)

Thanks! It’s been unseasonably warm here this Winter. What relatively little snow fell in the mountains has been melting earlier than usual. The river’s level typically rises with the snow melt.
