Which lenses are you missing?

View attachment 8369
It seems this lene is coming, check the roadmap
The missing lens is between the f4 zooms in, so according to this picture it would be a 24-60/F4
If so It will probably be very small (and probably collapsable) new standard zoomlens voor the s9 ? So according to this picture I think I don't have any interest.

I do not understand the positioning of the 18-40, because it slower but still above the 20-60 and 14-28. I would have drawn it between the 20-60 and the 28-200.

I don't think you can make much conclusion about the position in this picture.

My guess would be a S pro 24-60 f2.0. Because I think with the upcoming camera release, Panasonic will go more in the higher end direction. I don't think there is anything missing for mid-range shooters at the moment at least no zooms, and it's about time to extend the S pro lineup.

I Agree: I expect a highter quality kitlens. Not sure It will have the PRO badge (also the 24-105 F4 doesn't), but will have higher quality than the 20-60

That would be interesting, and probably will make me rethink if I want to have primes. Sigma has a 28-45/1.8 which is HUGE, 24-60/2.0 Pro will probably be beyond that in size & weight. But also a bit more versatile I guess..

If Panasonic could maintain 24mm at the wide end for an ~f/2, which Sigma, Sony and Canon have all failed to do, then it would be a win for the system, even if it means sacrificing a little on the long end. People care much more about that 4mm than they do about the 10.
