What a great idea for a thread! I hadn't spent much time thinking about the Xpan format, but that's changed after viewing the many fantastic photos in this thread. So why not give it a shot? Here's an early effort at a 65:24 crop. This is the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone (an almost surreal location), taken in early May before the crowds show up. The colorful areas around the hot springs are communities of heat-loving organisms known as thermophiles.
