So glad my initial order of S5ii, 24-105 and 85 was delayed and new offers appeared getting the 70-300 instead. The 85 would not have been used ever and I wouldn't be doing as much photography just owning the 24-105 as most times I need far longer. I'd be lost without the 70-300.

Great video from Richard Wong. Osaka Street 65:24 aspect ratio:

I really like this aspect ratio for street photography!!

@Richard Wong I liked photos #11, 14, 28, 35, 36, 50 and 58. My favorite is the one with the old lady watering the plants (#36). Street photography is a very difficult genre.

Nevertheless, I am not very impressed with the lens 26mm f/8. I do like the focal lenght a lot, but a no AF, plastic and F/8 lens is not worth 239 €, IMHO.
I understand that you used the LUT "S Deep Forest 1", right?
Do you think this LUT could affect the sharpness of this lens?

Thank you! Your choice is quite similar to mine actually :)
The 26mm f/8 is really not a bad lens in terms of optics. It's better than most toy/lens cap lenses around $100 I tested in the past. and it has electronic optics. But I would like to see a focus scale, and also automatic trigger the magnify view when you turn the focus ring. which both should be there but missing.
I have a feeling most people probably will get/buy the 26mm f/8 at a discounted price or freebie.

Yes I am using S Deep Forest 1. But that is a video lut, not photo lut. it uses VLOG base so I don't suggest use that for photos. Don't do what I do LOL

LUT should not affect sharpness. it's just for colour grading. In my video, some photos are quite sharp.. but some are slightly soft and that's because I didn't get the focus completely correct.
