In Lightroom, the original crop format is preserved by default, but if you go into the cropping tool, the full frame is there and you can crop to anything you like. I'm guessing that the camera is adding EXIF data to describe the in-camera crop and that LR is respecting that but DxO isn't.I usually only shoot raw and process in DxO, and have noticed that any shots taken using the 65:24 format are just shown as full fram shots. I am guessing the crop only applies to jpegs.

Intriguing aircraft.Something out of my comfort zone (things that move!).
Rich Goodwin and his Jet Pitts by Paul Kaye, on Flickr
Yes, the turbines were running and we were treated to some hovering. He doesn’t hold the hover for long though because he needs the piston engine running too which causes some torque roll so the hover slowly turns into a rotation. He’s thinking of changing the jet alignment to give some counter thrust. The guy is an absolute nutter. He gave us a talk about the turbines last winter and the whole project is fascinating. He’s done other mods too, including an extended elevator to give more pitch authority during manoeuvres.Intriguing aircraft.
Were the turbines running? According to his website, with the extra thrust from the turbines, the aircraft should be able to hover (so long as the pilot lays off the pies).
Wow, that is a cool Pitts. His web page says the turbines aren't yet authorized for flight, so this must be very recent.Yes, the turbines were running and we were treated to some hovering.
