***May 2024 Image and video thread***

Where are these from? I have to try the geo-tagging yet with Lumix Sync app. I used to sometimes geo-tag with Pentax and used the maps in Lightroom, it gave exact orientation as well via compass.
Union Station, in Kansas City: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vUNxDZthgPZi1UeD7

Liberty Memorial (from this post) is across the street.

And across the railroad tracks in the other direction is a former trolley house that was turned into a series of restaurants, very nice; one of these days I hope to get some pics inside.

And now, because I finally had time to go back and sort through everything, a few more for Pete: (Full set of pics at https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBsFsK )
Pics taken with the Sigma fp using the Konica Hexanon 40/1.8, Vivitar (Kiron) 28/2.5, Minolta MD 35-70/3.5 Macro, and Olympus OM Zuiko 100/2.8.
Thanks so much Travis! That is an awesome set of photos, and very much appreciated by this railfan!

I just made a short video (15 seconds):

The video was made with the S5 OG and the Lumix 35mm f/1.8 placed on a mini tripod.

It is a 300 pictures timelapse. The video made directly by the camera was edited in DaVinci Resolve: the perspective had to be corrected and the audio track was included. I think a Gregorian chant works very well with the motif of the video.

This chapel is a model that I found in the shed of my in-laws' house:

P1424700.jpg
  • Panasonic - DC-S5
  • LUMIX S 35/F1.8
  • 35.0 mm
  • ƒ/8
  • 1/25 sec
  • Pattern
  • Auto exposure
  • -1
  • ISO 6400

I think this video could have worked in the “Chiaroscuro” contest, but since only photographs are allowed this month, that's okay.

A solution must be found to share videos anonymously so that they can be submitted to the contest.

By the way, in the videos there is no way to know if they were made with an L-Mount camera...
