Forgive me, for I have Been Foolish

Yuck, what an abomination.

I suppose that if someone is determined to put larger lenses on the camera then it might help, but to me that defeats the purpose of buying such a small camera in the first place.

Some photos from the church of St. John the Baptist with the 24/3.5. These are all DNGs processed using Iridient Developer with the DNG camera profile.

guys, you are killing me....

No, I need to reduce my camera equipment, I will not look at it, I will fight against it, I stay cool, I am totally bored, It does not attract me at all, I do not hear voices on my shoulder, I am alone in the room....

First I thought I would send it back. But after I looked at the RAW files and compared to my beloved Leica, the rendering and colors are nearly perfect (to my taste and for 24MP).

My thoughts exactly. It's beyond me why people buy a sleek, gorgeous, beautifully engineered piece of art, then proceed to add the ugliest looking warts and protrusions, to make it "better"
Seriously, just buy a camera with a proper grip.
In general, I agree with you, but hey: I think my S5iiX is gorgeous as-is, but sometimes ya gotta do what you gotta do ... Z04 Flucht

Yeah I get that. But I suspect that you bought your S5 primarily as a functional tool. Where function comes first.
But I certainly don't see that being the case for someone who buys a BF. You buy a BF for the style and aesthetics.
Of course, people are free to do whatever they wish with their purchases, I'm certainly not trying to dictate what they do -or don't do, with their toys, I just don't get it, is all I'm saying.
