How do you deal with reflections when shooting through tank walls in the aquarium? I keep running into stuff like this:
A circular polarizer will often take out the reflection.

<nod> I've used one before, but it doesn't work very well in dimly-lit spaces.

This wouldn't matter, it's the angle of the polariser to the reflected light.
Thanks, that's what I was going to say and you beat me to it.

Um, no, that’s not the point. The point is a polarizer darkens the image, so if the image is already going to be dimly lit, you may not have enough light left for a good exposure. ^^;;

This is the kind of environment where I have probably the most trouble with reflections:

Every stop counts. ^^;;

Yep, I remember trying to take photos out of a window in a skyscraper in Tokyo at night and reflections were a huge problem. I'm not sure if these existed at the time but they could be a help: https://www.ultimatelenshood.com/products/ulhgo
