A circular polarizer will often take out the reflection.
<nod> I've used one before, but it doesn't work very well in dimly-lit spaces.
 
This wouldn't matter, it's the angle of the polariser to the reflected light.
Um, no, that’s not the point. The point is a polarizer darkens the image, so if the image is already going to be dimly lit, you may not have enough light left for a good exposure. ^^;;
 
Modern polariser about 1 stop
This is the kind of environment where I have probably the most trouble with reflections:
