Do you just want it or do you need it for certain reasons? After decades of photography and a lot of changes in my gear, I found my lenses with the Sigma Art series…
I have the 24-70 Mark I and are completely satisfied with it. Even with HighRes shots this lens delivers great results. Maybe some lenses are better, but I doubt that I can see the difference in pictures.

I had the Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM II with my A1, and I'm starting to look for something similar for the S1RM2. So far it's looking like the Sigma, it has an aperture ring and the other features of the GM II, the weight is close, and I think the optical performance could be as good. A downside is that Sigma lenses aren't qualified for Cropless stabilization, at least not yet. I've not pulled the trigger, but there is a twitch.
