Silver Sigma Contemporary Lenses

Although I wasn't too excited about the Sigma BF as beautifully foolish as it is, I was happy to see the possibility of silver lenses as I thought there were
a couple I would like to pair with my silver TL2, so I went ahead and ordered the first I'd considered - the 45mm 2.8. I like the rendering even on aps-c, and the size is great for the smaller body. Anyway, earlier this afternoon, after what has seemed like quite a long wait it arrived, so for anyone else waiting they are in the UK.

I'm a sucker for nice packaging, even though it obviously has no impact on my photo's , but I was happy to see the packaging style of the BF has been carried over into these lenses, nice - thank you Sigma. I only hope the lens works for me as I would hate to repack and send it back!

Hahaha , I don't know, some people find inspiring the sound of the shutter, or the shape of the camera, or the EVF, of some manual Lens, or the screen... It is really important to find something in our gear that inspire us and brings ud to the "Flow"...

And the good news is that it is something totally subjective and unscientific... In my case it is the Nikon Df. I really enjoy using that camera. By the way I really like the silver cameras

One of my favourite lenses, and it looks fantastic in silver on the silver TL2!

The packaging is a step up from the previous standard packing.

I loved 40mm on APSC. And 30mm on m4/3. 60mm 135 format FOV. Been keeping an eye out for a 60mm for L mount, I've tried wandering about with my Sigma 28-70mm set at 65mm (replicating the Sigma 65mm F2), but found it a touch too long for what I have in mind for it. I'm going to try 55mm for a while (once again on my Sigma zoom) & see if that's enough of a step from 50mm.

With the Sigma i-series in silver, there will be now a run on second hand Leica TL2...

Thank you, I'm a Lightroom user, very basic edits just include using the embedded profile for the TL2.

Thanks. Prices on used T/TL/TL2 have been very slowly rising over the last year or so, there were a lot of (relatively) unhappy folks when Leica dropped aps-c. So far Sigma have released the 35 f/2 50 f/2 and 45 2.8 in silver, yet to announce dates for any of the others. I'm wondering if it will depend on sales figures for the BF, I would like to swap my 90 black and maybe pick up the 24 3.5, in my head those three with the 18TL are a lovely lightweight, very capable set on the TL2 .
