The Kansas Aviation Museum has a lovely host building - the original terminal for Wichita's first airport, before the USAF turned it into McConnell Air Force Base, a beautiful Art Deco structure - and some lovely exhibits. Sadly, they're running on a shoestring budget, so they're always scrambling for maintenance.

Also, I've been out there many times, and it seems 9 times out of 10 it's a featureless deep blue sky and very strong lighting. ^^;;

Silly question: do the older S bodies (S1, S1R, S5(ii)) also switch from AFC to AFS when shooting in 65:24? I don’t have my S1 with me to compare and just noticed it this morning. Not a biggie, just out of curiosity. Switching to this format in the S1Rii seems to force AFS and does not allow tracking.

Yes, it does in the S5 original and in the S5ii. Not only changes the AFC to AFS, it also changes the Focusing mode to "1-Area"...

I made a video with 65:24 X-PAN pictures. The fun part was to syncing the music from Scott Buckley with an image every 4 seconds. 90% of the pictures were take with L-mount cameras. If you have just 5 minutes and 46 seconds of your time to relax a bit, just grab a drink and enjoy Z04 Flucht
