BTW, the image of the hawk is a little soft. The web page appears to be enlarging it, at least on my monitor. Not sure if I can control that somehow - perhaps the DPI settings in my export dialog in C1?

Yes, as far as I can tell the forum software seems to expand images to fill the available width. But I've found that you can single click on the image, grab the corner handles and drag it down to a smaller size.
 
I processed this photo using DxO's FilmPack 7 plugin using the Ilford Pan 400 film simulation, with some added grain.

It's curious how Parisians play "pétanque" . I like these "Red Dot" photos, especially when the lines converge at that red dot.
