As far I know, Panasonic already confirmed a S1Hii is in the works. Maybe S1HII will merge the S1II and S1RII, higher pixel count and stacked sensor.

As far I know, Panasonic already confirmed a S1Hii is in the works. Maybe S1HII will merge the S1II and S1RII, higher pixel count and stacked sensor.
I have not seen any confirmation about this yet.
If they bring a S1HII (and name it that way), it needs to be a monster to be able to beat the S1II. That will cost probably a lot more. Not just a few hundred USD more.
I wonder whether there would be enough customers who are willing to pay +5.000 USD for a camera and who need features, which the S1II does not offer yet.

And then here is the interesting part - if they make a body with a hi-res fully stacked sensor, the sports & wildlife people will want it as well. Especially if they give it a bigger buffer & the AF is up to par. So, calling it an "S1HII" could put off stills people. Especially if it has an AA filter, although I suppose they could have an S1HII & a S1HIIX tp overcome that.

Maybe, but I think priority for Panasonic are hybrid shooters. Of course the specifications would also be intriguing to wildlife shooters. However, I don't think an AA filter would be necessary with a 44 to 50 Mpix Sensor.
The OG S1H was introduced for 3999€ back in 2019. I think when they would offer a S1HII wit fully stacked 45 Mpix Sensor, with DR boost, with all those S1II features and additional 8k possibilities, with even more advanced AF features, there will be enough potential customers to pay around 4499€ or even 4999€.
You have to add inflation of over 6 years, if we are talking m about a launch date in 2025. Plus the better tech.
I would see that Lumix camera more between 5.500 and 6.000 USD/€. nowadays, if the newest tech is used.
Look at the Canon R5, Nikon Z8 etc and their launch price 2-5 years ago. Always well above 4.500 € and they could produce it cheaper thanks to their bigger volume.
