News LUMIX S Series Camera Lens - 40mm F2 Compact Prime L-Mount Lens - S-S40

I am happy that Panasonic has figured out that the S9 needs smaller pancake type lenses, like the 18-40mm and the 40mm. I purchased the TT 40mm f2 a few weeks back as I had booked myself on a 3 week trip to the Adriatic. I am quite happy with the TT 40mm. I also bought the SG Image 35mm f2.2. I'd like to see wider lenses (I love the PL 15mm MFT lens so perhaps 30mm FF?) and some compact zooms. The Sigma 10-18 is APS-C. I'd like to see a FF version. Same goes for the APS-C Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 .

Yes, a 28mm or 30mm would be good.

The FF equivalent of the 18-50mm f/2.8 is the 28-70mm f/2.8 (by all reports also an excellent lens).

Yes, I know that lens has a good reputation. I have an old Pentax 30mm f/2.8 from the seventies that's pretty good but it's a rare focal length.
