Hey all,
I started using Lumix cams with the GH4 in 2014 at my first production job. It stood out from the other DSLRs we were using, and I even preferred it over the Canon C300 at the time.
Fast forward to 2019, when I replaced my Sony A7SII kit with a Lumix S1H and S1. The rest is history. I instantly fell in love with the image quality, the customizable menu / button functionality, and the amount of video tools that Lumix offered. They also had neat tools like the Focus Transition and incredible IBIS, not to mention IS Boost, that caught my attention.
I became very involved with the Lumix Facebook Groups back in 2020 during the COVID lockdowns. I really enjoyed engaging with other Lumix shooters, helping them troubleshoot, and discussing project. This enthusiasm eventually led me to becoming part of the Lumix Creators Backstage (LCB) group. They are a group of talented creators who share the same passion for Lumix as one another. A perk of being part of the group is gaining access to some early firmware and gear releases as well.
I use Lumix cameras for mainly wedding filmmaking work. However, I shoot all Sony FX3 and FX6 at my full-time job as a DP / Senior Video Editor at a creative agency in Burlington, VT called Driven Studio. This unique roll allows me to see the pros and cons of both systems. This led me to becoming an invaluable beta tester for new Lumix cameras and firmware.
I'm also an ambassador with Kolari Vision.
I'm excited to be a part of this group!
