Lumix 26mm

I'm not seeing anything I don't like, & lots that I do like. I think if people got over their pre-conceived ideas about the 26mm, and approached it with a more open mind/attitude, they might be a little bit surprised, & understand a bit what Panasonic was thinking when designing the lens. And f/8 is not slow. Especially on a modern, 36x24 sensor 24MP camera

This. I just got mine because the deal with my s9 and that I did not have any of the small lenses. No loss I thought. But in practice this lkille gem have becom a staple. It has surprised me more than once.

I'd love to see some of those 1953 photos if you're willing to share! :)

And, more of the Blue Mountains ... Z04 Herz

Hi Peter.

Here are the two photos we found that I mentioned earlier, both taken in September 1953. Photo credit: David Henson.

My dad is on the right in this photo. He would have been 19 years old at the time.

They were serious bushwalkers (Australian term for hikers), going on multi-day walks in very rough terrain. Here is a Google map link to Mount Guouogang in the Blue Mountains. It's a long way from any town and as you know from visiting, the terrain there is very rugged.

I will post up some more Blue Mountains shots soon. Some will be in m4/3 format though so might have to post on Dirk's other forum.

Awesome. Thanks very much for posting these! Fantastic photos, and real family treasures!

I'm not sure which of these 2 smilies is more appropriate:DaumenhochDaumenhoch Smilie [<-- Maybe someone can translate their "names"?]
