I am a member of the New South Wales Rail Museum: https://www.nswrailmuseum.com.au/ which is perhaps a bit more "rustic". It's located about 100km south west of Sydney and has both an indoor museum display and a large undercover outdoor display. They operate a small fleet of restored steam and diesel locomotives on a local heritage line and also on the mainline to various locations.

The museum is operated by Transport Heritage NSW which is the corporate body that obtains state government grants to maintain these old assets and operate them for the benefit of the community. I volunteer with THNSW as the company secretary. This is a governance role supporting the Board of directors and executive management.

Grab yourself the Lumix 14-28mm. Yeah, it's rectilinear rather than FE, but it's wiiiiide. Sharp as a tack,, small, light, very reasonably priced, well worth having in your kit

Except that's... not what I want. Explicitly not what I want.

For this situation, I want the distortion effect of a fisheye. I want to be able to step up to the niche and have it capture the areas to the side that wouldn't be visible to even a very very wide rectilinear view, and I want the effect that curves them around the viewer, like this:

I love noctilucent clouds, not quite as elusive as aurora in Ireland but equally as beautiful. There was a photographer here dedicated to these and probably still around.

It's been years since I captured these and I love when they are criss-crossed, they are a reason for a long sunset to nightscape photography session. You get the beyond sunset colours with 1/2 sunset and astro look.

Bracketed exposures can work well here to brighten the landscape, also if the moonlight helps.

Tip: make it a symmetrical 65 24 X pan format for our thread and it'll be a winner.

It'll be a wall hanger, absolutely brilliant and inspiring! I hope you have the RAW Good Job1

Best way I've found, is don't use the App. Log into the Desktop site on your phone/mobile, hit the share link down the bottom right corner, cut & paste into forum reply, done. Too easy.

This one is 19.5:9 so it fits my iPhone screen. It's a little bit wider than 65:24. And off course I have the raw :)
I will post the 65:24 one for sure . I got nlc shot on the same place with my g80 back in 2019. the clouds where amazing that evening.
