Ben Crom reservoir and dam, 24mm couldn't fit all this in, the 14mm could.
So are you going to order the 14-28mm ? Z04 Flucht

I did a panning video instead, quite a few clips today (your typical 360° jobs) but Lumix Sync can't upload MOV to my phone via wifi. I'll need a cable before I can YouTube them.

I'm totally flummoxed, where's the propulsion?
It folds away behind the cockpit (not my glider and not my photo).

My highest respect for the skill and knowledge needed, I've only flown one on Flight Simulator on the Xbox

A friend took up paragliding and I went with him a few times to photograph them and got some great ones and the paragliding club loved them and wanted prints etc. It is very satisfying combining sports and landscape photography. I even photographed them from inside a bedroom in my house one time as they were given permission to fly at the local mountain over Belfast 2 miles away, the same mountains from photos I posted last week or so.

That was some years ago as my friend crashed into a fence, broke his back and his wife said no more of that Z04 Wife. I think he was too scared himself though after that.

A Schleicher ASG-29E?
Yes, well spotted. Lovely glider. I think the one in the photo is the Es variant - it comes with the luxury of an electric starter. Normally these “turbo” (aka self-sustainer) engines are started by diving the glider to spin the prop via airflow, which isn’t ideal when you’re already getting low!

This one is a short video:
I really like that video! Whenever I see insect macro pictures I always know it would be even better in video. Of course the patience and difficulty factors go way up, so thanks for that. :)

So pleased when I reviewed the footage, I’ve never used the full 180fps on the S5 before but it did well, much softer than normal speed but it sharpens up pretty well in premiere. It’s manual focus only at that speed but I was MF anyway being near minimum focus distance with an extremely challenging scene. There was a lot of luck involved too, capturing a landing was unexpected, as was the damselfly interaction.

Nice video, that is difficult to do using MF, do any FF cameras AF at such framerates?

I have that "All I want is the perfect camera" song by Camera Conspiracies in my head now any time I see such slo-mo as it is a regular theme of his mickey taking.

YouTube does a 0.25x for those without video timeframe software.

Hey thanks Travis!

That looks like a really nice transport museum! Everything looks beautifully presented. I like the addition of the mannequins and the lighting is great. You did a wonderful job getting all the detail and colour tonality is superb. Daumenhoch

It's the Smithsonian Museum of American History, so I'd hope it would be good. :)

I want to get back to the Henry Ford Museum with a nice camera; they've got a Really Big One for you. ^_- https://www.thehenryford.org/visit/henry-ford-museum/exhibits/railroads

I like both of those museums. I've been to DC several times recently, meaning to spend time in the Smithsonian again, but haven't made it. Thanks for the pictures. I've not been to Dearborn for quite some time, but I'd also like to go through the Henry Ford Museum again.
