I can't be 100% sure. What I've done is go the image on Flickr, then click the download button, then click on 'view all sizes' and then selected 'Large 1600 (1600 × 1067)'. There is nowhere on the page that allows me to select or deselect exif info so I assume it is there by default.

I'll just go check it on the disk.

You're right! In the file properties the exif fields are all blank.

So I just downloaded the full size image from Flickr and it has most of the exif information although some lens info is missing, but I think this is a longstanding a problem with DxO PhotoLab.

Hi Pete,

I simulated your account and it works as long as the exif data are in a "normal way" embedded in the image. It seems that Flick changes something. Take the image I uploaded here and upload it again.

That does not work, because the forum software strips the Exif data from the image and stores the Exif data somewhere else while it is uploading an image.

What are you using to check the EXIF? When I check with GraphicConverter, which shows a lot of EXIF fields other programs don’t, I’ve found that On1 Photo Raw will often put EXIF in - but in fields that some software doesn’t read.

I'm running Windows, and just doing a right-click - properties - details.

Yeah, I have a hunch that's probably only checking the most-used EXIF fields. I'm not on Windows, but it looks like https://exiftool.org/gui/ has a lot more of the fields.
