Yeah, that is what I used for wet. It was separate solution and the sealed disposable swab sticks are great.

I think some freak out with the word "wet" thinking of water and damaging electronics. The supplied solution won't do that.

Actually the supplied solution is water. It is ultrapure water. And no, ultrapure water won't conduct electricity and damage electronics, it is an insulator.

Distilled water, really? I'm near sure mine isn't but I'll check.

I'd imagine the sensor which is an IC chip is well sealed?

It's definitely not distilled water, it is way beyond that. Here is the Wikipedia link to ultrapure water.
