S2RII how change M-S-A in C1 C2 C3... ?

Hello,
On my S1II, I've programmed C1, C2, C3, etc., for different photo categories; for example, C3 for "sport-animals".
I started to program with the A (aperture priority) position for this setting, and now I'd like to make it work in S (shutter priority).
I can't find a way to change the priority (M, S, A, etc.) in an existing setting! This would force me to reprogram entirely from the S position! (I remember the same problem with an old A7). I tried to find a mode control with a programmable button or the Q menu, but I couldn't find one!
Is there a trick? ... ;)
Thanks in advance,
Alain

You need to go out of C1 first.

Then setup the camera as you want it without using C1-C3.

i.e. Put it in A mode, use the preferred aperture, ISO, minimum shutterspeed in Auto ISO, fps etc. pp. Once you are finished, go into menu and save the current setting to C1. Give it also a name.

After you saved it within the menu to C1. Start all over for the second custom mode you want to have. Make new adjustments with "S" and the other changes accordingly too (if needed at all). As soon as you are finished, go again to the menu and save these new settings to C2.

The dial with C1, C2 etc., you only use after you programmed it. The programming itself has to be done outside of C1,C2 etc. in the normal A, S, P, M Mode.

Thank you very much, but that makes me redo the whole C...
In the meantime, I found an interesting possibility:
In the "Custom" menu (with the little purple guy), I selected "Exposure Control with P/A/S/M." I just have to click on it and choose the priority mode. It then appears in the tiny square at the bottom left, and this little square turns yellow to indicate a mode different from the mode initially chosen for this C program...
I'm going to add this "Custom Menu" to each C program; it seems very practical!
However, I'd like to be able to recall this command from a programmable key, and I can't find one, but it's pretty quick with the "menu" key...

Hi Alain,

I think this should work...

1. Turn your camera mode dial to 'S' shutter priority.

2. Go into the Setup menu (spanner icon) -> Setting page (cog icon) and select "Load Custom Mode". Select the custom mode you wish to load, e.g. C1. This will load the selected custom mode into the current camera settings but you will are now in Shutter priority.

4. Set your desired shutter speed.

5. Save the current settings back into your custom slot (e.g. C1, C2, etc).

Yes ! Thank you ! It's ok and very cool with your method !

Now I'm using the S1II, which is starting to gain value for photography, where I was more used to cameras with more "clean" menus and features (Leica, Hasselblad);)
But for video, where I only have a few basics acquired with an A7 and a Leica SL2s quite some time ago, I'm looking for information or tutorials to help me understand and configure everything...

5. Save the current settings back into your custom slot (e.g. C1, C2, etc).

But pay attention that you use a new slot (i.e. C2 instead of C1), otherwiee you will overwrite your old C1 settings accidentely ;)
