Directly after the Leica press conferene was the one of Panasonic. You can image how curious everybody was, what Panasonic might unveil now.

An overview what Panasonic was able to invemt for the photographer. It shows how the continuously push to make things better for the photographer and videographer. Mayn "first every" innovations over the last decade.

And here we are with the fullframe mirrorless announcement
2 cameras. One with 24MP, one with 47 MP. 4K 60P and Venus engine (the one from the G9 I think)
Here you can see the specs of the Panasonic Lumix S1s and S1R.
Contrast AF, DFD, Dual IS, great viewfinder, double slot for 1 XQD and 1 SD card, 3 axis tiltable screen.
It is not a small camera and for my taste too "square". I liked the design of the G9 better. But is not sure yet, whether it stays like this.
Weather sealing, extremely robust shutter and Resistance against low temperatures
Comparison between the Lumix S1R and Lumix S1

3 lenses will be available in 2019. 50/1.4, 24-105 and 70-200
More lenses are planned. Both from Leica and from Panasonic (+7) so that Panasonic will have at least 10 native lenses available in 2020...
This is what gets me so excited. Similar to MFT, this new L-MOUNT alliance will flood us with lenses in a extremely short period of time.
And again, Panasonic nailed it...
