*** November 2025 Images & Videos Thread ***

Went out looking for the aurora the other night. Decided to head up north into the plains to get away from the light pollution & clouds. For most of the evening the aurora was a nice, big green & red arch, but about 10:00 it started to come alive, particularly at the ends of the arch. You could easily see the pillars and some movement with the naked eye. But a long exposure really brought the colors out. Not much for foregrounds out there, so I decided to use the Rivian, as the alignment was great.

S1RII, Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG DN Art. Two-image vertical pano. 40 second exposure for the foreground, and 15 second exposure for the sky. ISO 400.

You survived London I hope! I hate the place! But I'll be in Paris tomorrow, so let's see how that goes!!

Finally getting some snow on the Front Range. It’s been slow in coming this season.

This is an (almost) OOC JPEG using the Lecia Monochrome style. Getting ready for my assimilation.
