Apparently new Sirui lenses are on the way. 15mm f/1.6 and 24mm f/1.4 Aurora high-end and a new "Swift" line for the 20mm f/2.4 and 40mm f/2.2. The Swift lenses sound like they will be lower-end than Aurora but without going the bargain-basement route of stripping all controls that we've seen on some recent releases from other companies.

The Swift lenses are the ones that would most interest me as they will be more compact and presumably cheaper.

Yup, like buses - you wait for ages and then three come along at once. I already have a 40mm but am strongly considering the new Viltrox 20/2.8 though now I will at least wait for more info and reviews on the Sirui.
 
Swift's series is interesting. As far as I understand, 40/2.2 has the most complex optical circuit of all analogues for L Mount. 20/2.4 may also be even better than the native 20/2.5. Initially, the price for 40mm was indicated at 159 euros. Is it true?..

I haven't seen any indication of price or any more info about these lenses. Up until now all the Sirui lenses have been very fast, big and heavy, so I've no idea what kind of price or quality these new ones will be at.
 
This morning I saw advertising for the 20mm and 40mm lenses which are out early next month. €159 less a 5% discount (SWIFT5 code) for pre-orders direct on Sirui's website. What I don't know is if that includes all relevant taxes or if I'll get slapped with import duties etc if they're sending it from China.

Still, pleasantly surprised by the price and that they have a function button, aperture ring and light weather sealing. I wonder which is best between the Sirui and Viltrox 20mms?

 

Available on Amazon Spain now too but delivery at the end of December....

I will wait until reviews start to surface anyway.
 
Wow! Those prices are excellent, especially for weather sealing etc. I'll be interested to see the reviews of the optical performance.
