I've been around the block a lot, I've used Robert's / UsedPhotoPros in the past with no issues. I don't shred a place over one transaction because I made a living in the Electronic Consumer Goods field and dealt with customer issues, many not within our control, so I understand a little more being experienced with both sides? Some time back I received very poor shipping (USPS) and an item missing a part. So I just stopped ordering. I decided recently to try again because they mentioned using UPS Ground and the USPS is a disaster, simply put. Ordered a Excellent condition Sig 100-400 and it was even "refurbed" for extended warranty, it arrived and it was just gorgeous in condition but missing a part and so incomplete, worse no mention of this at all. I gave them a second chance and I was let down. fyi

in a nutshell, I'm not using Robert's / UsedPhotoPros Indianapolis I can not trust them

What part was missing?

I've had good experiences with them. Have you reached out to them? They may try to make it right. I work for one of the major camera stores and when something like this happens our used team tries resolve it. I'd bet this would be the same for Roberts. They're very reputable.

Thanks for the heads-up.

FYI: I’ve sold & purchased used camera gear many times to/from KEH.com with no problems.

I recently used Roberts Camera / UsedPhotoPro. When Panasonic USA did their recent trade in deal and I traded in my GH7 for a new S1II, UsedPhotoPro actually did the trading in. It all went well, they were professional and I got a very good price for the GH7 - actually more than the intial estimate.

Then I went to sell all of my M43 lenses. I usually use KEH Camera for this, and I did use them for most of the lenses. But there were a couple of lenses KEH wouldn't take so I thought of UsedPhotoPro again, and sure enough I sold those lenses to them. It worked smoothly and I was happy.

But I have not yet purchased anything from them, so I appreciate learning about your experience.

My feeling working with them is that they are pretty small compared to KEH. Because of that they might not have the infrastructure KEH has developed over the years.
