It's basically fine. Initially, I wanted to use a Sigma 90mm for travel and a separate portrait camera, but now it's too expensive for me to keep two lenses.

They sent me a new firmware that removes the reverse vignette when the apertures are closed. I didn't know how to install it, so I connected the lens to my computer and copied the firmware to the lens' open disk. I'm not sure if this is the right way to do it. I don't know what the firmware number was, but it became 2.2 as in the description.

That was correct how you've done it.
You find a textfile on the disk which tells you the current installed firmware version.

I don't know yet. cloudy weather has a bad effect on visibility, it is best to do this in the light.
