Nice, lightweight super zoom with good image quality. Very good for outdoors in daylight, not so good for inside tele shooting.
I won't even ask how many lenses you ownThanks!! I am so conflicted about this lens, and keep writing it off. And then you post these REALLY nice shots. My credit card is itching.
Not to increase your GAS, but the thing I like about this lens: It is so much fun to use. And if my wife and I go places I can take it with me without switching a lot of lenses. Thanks!! I am so conflicted about this lens, and keep writing it off. And then you post these REALLY nice shots. My credit card is itching.
so you only shoot gloomy landscapes with weather resistant primesLooks like a nice lens for people who live in a country with sunshine.
I live in Ireland, so... ;-)
I have just got it and started enjoying it, even in cloudy and rainy Norway. But then I am more about the narrative content than the technical content. My primes are awesome but this is so convenient in rain and bad weather because of its range and weather sealing.Looks like a nice lens for people who live in a country with sunshine.

I translated no sunshine in gloomy for funGloomy landscapes in Ireland? It's green all year round.
Beer all year round too, naturally.
That's great Charles, hope it is as good as mine and you have lots of fun with itI finally broke down and got the 28-200mm, and am really looking forward to using it. Hope I got a good copy; my first test shots look good.

And you’re not even showing the chapel?
There was some kind of major event at the Academy with lots of traffic, so it was difficult to get around. And I didn't get to the chapel. And you’re not even showing the chapel?![]()
Ahh. Yeah, that makes sense. Too bad the event had things messed up. ;_;There was some kind of major event at the Academy with lots of traffic, so it was difficult to get around. And I didn't get to the chapel.
