Nice, lightweight super zoom with good image quality. Very good for outdoors in daylight, not so good for inside tele shooting.

I won't even ask how many lenses you own :D

One time I accumulated about 30, mostly cheapo legacy lenses and still have around 10 but never use them any longer. I prefer just using the 24-105 and 70-300 as they are brilliant. I have the Samyang 14mm f2.8 for UWA, usually UWA landscape astro but yet to do this photography on FF. Before used it on APSC camera.

Yeah the 28-200 is great but what S Lumix lens isn't?

Not to increase your GAS, but the thing I like about this lens: It is so much fun to use. And if my wife and I go places I can take it with me without switching a lot of lenses.
Meaning I get much quicker done what I wanted to do, and my wife waits less time, making it also a much nicer experience for both.
But for actual projects like interviews/greenscreen stuff I would not use this lens, there are the primes for...

so you only shoot gloomy landscapes with weather resistant primes :) and beer ofcourse

I have just got it and started enjoying it, even in cloudy and rainy Norway. But then I am more about the narrative content than the technical content. My primes are awesome but this is so convenient in rain and bad weather because of its range and weather sealing.
This made me go for it, there is so much good noise-reduction software and the high iso is better than ever on my s5ii so I just push the hell out of it. ;):cool:

Feel free to ask me again when winter comes...

I translated no sunshine in gloomy for fun :cool: . I hope our gloomy period in the Netherlands is over, it should finally be better next week. Would love to visit Ireland for sure!
 
I finally broke down and got the 28-200mm, and am really looking forward to using it. Hope I got a good copy; my first test shots look good.

Sunrise on Pikes Peak, Colorado. This 14,115 feet (4302 m) tall peak is 20 miles (32 km) away. Taken at 50mm and 200mm.

We lived in Denver for a few years when I was in grade school, and I remember driving through Colorado Springs several times; I was aviation-mad at the time, but the image I had of the USAF Academy was always the chapel.

Love the pics of Garden of the Gods. And it feels really, really strange to see Pike's Peak without a snowcap.

There was some kind of major event at the Academy with lots of traffic, so it was difficult to get around. And I didn't get to the chapel.
