Test/ First Impression Leica CL, The last L mount APSC system

The Mark ii version has an improved EVF - more Mp and a higher magnification. It's a decent step up from the original.

But there's no way I'm going to buy another system for one body!
I looked at the A7CR as well. And I do shoot Sony along with Panasonic. But I also do video, and the video capability of the A7CR is not very competitive.

But along the topic of the Leica CL, I do have the new Sony a6700 which is APS-C. I have it because it is a small rangefinder style camera, and it has excellent video capability. This is my go-to camera when I want to travel light.

According to DPReview the A7Cii (33MP) and A7CR (60MP) have higher magnification than the original A7C: 0.7x instead of 0.59x, but it's still the same 2.36M dot panel.

And yes, I'm too heavily invested in L-Mount now with 3 Panasonic zooms and 4 Sigma I series primes to want to swap.
Ah, yes - you're right. The Mp on the EVF didn't increase - everybody thought it would, but it didn't. But the magnification is higher. And the mk ii also got another dial. I'd never buy a serious camera with only one dial, so at least in that sense they've moved it from "never", to "probably never" in my buying decision process!
