It's certainly very pretty, and I have a friend who likes that generation (I think it's that one) a lot.

But I also have a big soft spot for the 200 series; they just got something right with the proportions that gives a feeling of solid security, something they messed up on the 850. The first-generation S60 was another winner for me, managing to be aerodynamic while still retaining a personality and some bit of the chiseled look Volvo's had for decades.

Yeah, I'm actually quite a fan of the 240T. I was actually at the Wellington street race mentioned in this article where it won from the back of the grid. The commentators were laughing and mocking the Swedish Taxi, but it just got faster and faster as the race wore on, & then won it. Was a brilliant race to watch, loved them ever since
