played around with this image to try to bring out more of the warm colors from sunset and fall but might have overcooked it - what do you guys think?

Thanks Nate, happy for anyone to start the monthly thread. Sickness in the family and the busy time of year has meant that I've not been able to go out with my camera since last month!

Sorry to hear Pete. Been similar where I'm at now - but thankfully everyone bounced back right away. Waiting on kiddo #2 to be born anyday now; and I've got a new toy, a godox v860iii for shooting her first portraits.

Congrats Nate! Very exciting times. An early Christmas present!

My three kiddos are all adults now, and I have a 2-year-old granddaughter who I get to see two or three times a week. It's kind of like parenting take 2, with all of the fun and not much of the responsibility.

If I didn't tell you I faked the blur in a really quick & dirty self made Adobe Elements graduated blur mask edit, would you pick it?

Works for me!
I quite surprised myself just how easy it was to generate quite realistic looking bokeh. I'm the furtherest thing you could find from a photoshop editing guru, and only used simple el-cheapo Elements, but if there's a bit of focus falloff there to begin with, it's not that hard to do.

Ha ha. And I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but that Red Model A in the second pic has a 460 cubic inch V8 wedged in between the chassis rails. Skinny wire spoked wheels & all :)

Looks like it works really well. I've only ever used Silkypix (in the past) and these days DxO PhotoLab so I would be a complete noob with PhotoShop.

Good Lord, that sounds positively dangerous! I hope the brakes were upgraded!
