Sorry to hear Pete. Been similar where I'm at now - but thankfully everyone bounced back right away. Waiting on kiddo #2 to be born anyday now; and I've got a new toy, a godox v860iii for shooting her first portraits. Thanks Nate, happy for anyone to start the monthly thread. Sickness in the family and the busy time of year has meant that I've not been able to go out with my camera since last month!
Congrats Nate! Very exciting times. An early Christmas present!Sorry to hear Pete. Been similar where I'm at now - but thankfully everyone bounced back right away. Waiting on kiddo #2 to be born anyday now; and I've got a new toy, a godox v860iii for shooting her first portraits.
Ye olde catchlight reflector for the royal headshots
Works for me!How about this one? A bit more subtle I think. Just smoothing out the Bokeh.
I quite surprised myself just how easy it was to generate quite realistic looking bokeh. I'm the furtherest thing you could find from a photoshop editing guru, and only used simple el-cheapo Elements, but if there's a bit of focus falloff there to begin with, it's not that hard to do.Works for me!
Looks like it works really well. I've only ever used Silkypix (in the past) and these days DxO PhotoLab so I would be a complete noob with PhotoShop.I quite surprised myself just how easy it was to generate quite realistic looking bokeh. Good Lord, that sounds positively dangerous! I hope the brakes were upgraded!Ha ha. And I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but that Red Model A in the second pic has a 460 cubic inch V8 wedged in between the chassis rails. Skinny wire spoked wheels & all![]()
