A walk through the Sigma BF menu system /UIX

I am really impressed what Sigma has achieved with the Sigma BF.

This is the best crossover between a smartphone and a camera I have ever seen. Forget how you used to operate a camera. Delete your memory and get used to this new way within a couple of days.

If I would knew what kind of other cameras Panasonic will bring out over the next 12 months for LMount and MFT, it would be a lot easier for me to make a plan on how to finance a Sigma BF.

But this is for sure a camera worth trying. Lighter and smaller than the S9, therefore probably a better alternative to my Ricoh GR3 than my Lumix S9. The usability is really cool, once you get used to it and it looks really sexy.

But without a small 28/2.0 DG DN i-series FFL I will have the same problem like with the S9. The lenses although small, are too front heavy. The Sigma 24/3.5 is the best option atm, but with 24mm, I have to jump almost into the people for street photography. Not my style. Especially not in Germany.

I love the silver version, but all my lenses are black and if you want to make street photography without beeing noticed, silver in the sun might not be a good idea. But it looks sooooo coool!

Just watch the video above and enjoy the menu system and how to operate the camera. This is really something new.

It looks like a nice menu system. Reminds me a bit of the original Apple iPod system.
