Video in photo modes - am I stupid?

Hi guys,
I may be outing myself as a n00b here.
I have normally C1 as "main photography mode", aka mode "A", auto ISO with minimum SS = 200 for human movement.
I have C2 as video with nice VLOG 6k "A" mode and all.
But I wanted to have in C1 the video in a more casual MP4L, so I "just" press the red button.
But when I do that, it records not in "A", but it goes to SS = 1/50 and cranks up the F so much I see all the sensor spots and the footage looks "not so good".
In the video menu (photo mode) it does not let me change the PASM mode.
Is there a solution? Anyone else has experienced this?

Your C1 custom mode is like this, right?

A - apertura priority mode (f/?)
Minimum 1/200, but could be higher
Auto ISO

I think that to change de PASM exposure mode for video you can do it with the mode dial in the "creative video mode" (the camera symbol + M).

I have tried Mp4lite codec but it changes the aperture automatically to f/8 and the SS to 1/30 being the ISO in auto mode. I have to try it more.

I don't know. Maybe you can configurate the custom mode C3 for video with the Mp4lite codec?
