LMF-Patron
It is based in the 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN ART Lens and is under development, but it looks very versatile. We already have a thread about the regular one:

Now the new cinema version:

Bearing in mind that the cameras and lenses are in general already so good, it seems that this cinema trend is going to be the future of the tradicional camera - photo industry...

Yeah for sure. For most things, improved video features translate well to stills. Better continuous AF. Better dynamic range. Faster sensor readout for less rolling shutter. Global shutter with no mechanical parts. I've been savaged on another forum for saying that, but the reality is that video is actually funding the R and D on it, yet tonnes of users can't tolerate that extra little red button, and have some weird idea that it's exponentially increasing the prices of cameras. And think that it should just be left out, therefore making for cheaper cameras. I think it's going to get to the point where it's videocentric hybrid, or nothing. I know what I'd prefer

Yep. I shoot Lumix because they are the best hybrid choice. I want the best is photography and the best in video.
Here's the thing. I wouldn't have shot 10 minutes video in my entire life, but I still buy Lumix cameras. Why? Because they're really well made and reliable.
They perform very very well. Image quality is generally as good as anything out there. ISO performance, and dynamic range.
They get smaller, compact lenses, going right back to the original m4/3 cameras.
They're very reasonably priced for their feature set. Even though I don't shoot video, or even intend to, the features are there.
Ergonomics are excellent. Very very good, for my hands.
Menu systems are intelligent, well thought out, and quite intuitive. I jumped over from Canon, and find them every bit as good as them. Very very rarely have I had to consult the manual.
Continuity. Despite all the grave warnings of imminent departure, they just keep on keeping on. I got sufficiently annoyed by the self appointed harbingers of doom that I even started a thread here on the subject. Which is very rare for me.
So, there's more to choosing a Lumix camera, than just the hybrid aspect. To me.

I think that's what I said, or at least implied. The best hybrid has the best in photography.
