SHOW - Fisheye shots (uncorrected)

I'm not sure how many of you have fisheye lenses, but I thought there might be enough interest for a thread on them. I really like the fisheye view and I've had one in my kit for as long as I remember. So, here is a batch to show the sort of things I've used it for. They are all un-corrected, which may seem surprising for many of them since the fisheye effect isn't that obvious. But, you'll see that many are letterbox format and distortion doesn't show too much across the middle of the image. Many are also of natural features and it's often much harder to spot the curvature.

All are with the TTArtisan 11mm f2.8 lens.

Love that pub shot Paul!

I recognise that bridge

I like the fisheye but I’ve only ever used it on my gopro. The perspective reminds me of peep show, I think they shot a lot of that on a fisheye for the first person effect.

It's my local !
Oh wow! Lot's of charm. My local is a 1960s building with no charm whatsoever. Although the food is good.

Some nice ones in there!

I really like fisheye shots that embrace the perspective distortions, not so much the ones that try to pretend they don't exist.

I am getting more tempted to pick one up, but budget is tight right now. ;_;

These were my favorites:
This one is good, but I think it'd be even better if you cropped out some of the leaves and devoted more of the frame to the curves.
Another one that's good, but I think would be better with less of the foreground.

@pdk42 - this seems to be pretty economically priced (if I am looking at the right thing) and interesting lens to use. Other than needing to use the effect properly and from your pictures that seems to be ensuring that the wide band is central what other pitfalls are there? Any guidance tips you are willing to share I'd be very interested in seeing.
