Self-Closing lens cap for 18-40mm?

Hello folks!
In MFT, the small 12-32 has an accessory that is a lens cap that opens once you turn the zoom in order to "activate" the lens.
Do we have anything similar for the 18-40?
I would like to have it so the lens is better protected in pockets and bags.

Not to my knowledge. Unless the lens is specifically designed for it then there is no way for the cap to detect if the lens is "activated" or not.

I think @CH_CH means a 3rd party lens cap that pushes automagically through a lens cap with "doors" like window shutters. So a little spring to keep them closed and if you extent the lens it they will be pushed away. I don't know if something like that exists.

Yes, exactly.
I went up to compare the lenses and I have little hope. In the 18-40, the complete front moves when turning the lens, in the 12-32 it is only the inside part, which leaves the option of a simple mechanism to open-release the iris. I cannot imagine how that would work in the 18-40. Ahhh shame.
