That's all I would need to make an s9 useful. Well .. that and $300 to fit my thin budget.
Eh... maybe.
These add-on optical viewfinders have been kicking around for a ;peg while; Leica made several to go with lenses that were too far out of framing for the built-in rangefinder. And Yashica made one for a wide/tele auxiliary lens kit for the Electro 35, with dual framing rectangles for the two lenses; it was apparently the gold standard and highly sought-after for a while. I had one and used it with my Pentax Q.

It was good - the optics were coated (the yellow reflection in the pic), which was rare for optical add-ons. But it wasn't really enough, especially if you were trying to focus manual lenses.
