My wife and my son-in-law keep urging me to do the bridge climb on a trip we have coming up to Sydney. So far I'm holding firm - no climb!

You should do it, Charles! I've done it twice with visitors from the US. Fantastic views from the top.

That photo I posted was taken from the south-east pilon which you could do as an alternative. There's no elevator so it's a just lot of stairs to climb but you can spend as much time as you want at the top and there's a kiosk for refreshments. The view from there is pretty good too.
