For more conformation:

The lastest Instagram post from Lumix - not only Lumix Flow, also Lumix Lab is in the instagram video
(Also the youtube teaser shows this: )

Actually this stream is the 16th, not the 17th. Perhaps 16th offcialy revealed, and 17th fullblown demonstration? And than on 20th release firmware & apps

Panasonic yesterday announced to bring the titanium gold S9 to Europe, limited to a stock of 200 and only available at the Panasonic online store.

But that's probably not the announcement.
Thanks for flagging that - I was rather taken with that colour and nice that it is making it over here. Although even free stickers is unlikely to tempt me away from my current S9!

I found it interesting that this is the fourth body colour - there is black, silver and dark silver (which was only with the Orange leatherette version) and wish that more territories got then!

Lumix Lab has always included an edit function and have found it quite a decent editing app for pictures I took with my phone.

The bit in the video looks like the Tone Curve tab in the Adjust section.
Oooops, you are right, I never use it but I found it in the app:

I always use Lightroom Mobile and sometimes Snapseed with my Smartphone.

LUMIX Flow 1.3.0(iOS/iPadOS/Android)

・Supports DC-S5M2,DC-S5M2X,andDC-GH7.
・Added UI display optimized for vertical shooting.
・Improved mirroring monitor functionality.
・Enhanced operational stability.

The following features are available only for DC-S5M2,DC-S5M2X, and DC-GH7:
*They will be compatible with DC-S1M2, DC-S1M2ES and DC-S1RM2 in the near future.
・LUTs can be applied to the live view.
・Supports multiple frame markerdisplay.
・Added AF recognition frame display.

Meaning the S5ii(X)/GH7 will get updates what the newer camera's don't have yet - very interesting!

As a stills shooter who always uses raw, none of these improvements are of any interest. For those shooting video, are these genuinely useful new features?

Using your phone as Monitor is very useful (bigger screen and the Samsung S25 Ultra which I use has also a much higher resolution and better visibility in bright light).

Hopefully also AF improvements

So I understand 2 functions also for the photoshooter:
  • Startup time improvements
  • Enhanced customization of the Focus Ring – The focus ring can be used as a control ring, enabling for assigning key functions and the focus rotation direction can be selected either clockwise or counterclockwise. (*4)
Unfortunally no AF improvements - I'm afraid we need the S1Rii/S1ii/S1e for that (what I don't have)

Great! I use this feature with my S1Rii and the Lumix S PRO 50 mm f/1.4 for the crop zoom.

I think now will be possible with the Lumix f1.8 primes (18, 24, 35, 50 and 85) + the 100mm f2.8 macro.

Yes it will:

LUMIX S 18mm F1.8 ver.2.0 / S 24mm F1.8 ver.2.0 / S 35mm F1.8 ver.2.0 / S 50mm F1.8 ver.2.0 / S 85mm F1.8 ver.2.0 / S 100mm F2.8 MACRO ver.2.0
  • The focus ring can be used as a control ring (*6), enabling for assigning key functions, and the focus rotation direction can be selected in MF mode.
