I just found this very interesting article about a new patent from Panasonic:

It seems it will require a large camera, maybe that will be a S1H successor.

I suppose they could get away with a slightly larger body on the H series as it’s basically intended for more serious productions. Not sure I’d want it on a more casual hybrid through.

Agree. I sold my S1H and am working with the smaller body S5IIx. Let's see if they actually bring something to market and how much size and weight it adds.
