Meike 35mm f2 new?

R-J Sunday

LMF-Patron
Ik think it is, they already had the 50mm and 85mm, but I hadn't heared of the 35mm yet.
I have them al three from Lumix, but great that you now can get the 35/50/85 for a very low price. I expect decent quality, ofcourse not Lumix or Sigma quality but great for the price

The lens came to me. For its price, it suits me absolutely. Assembled well, sharp enough from f/2, the autofocus speed is average.

Looks like it's decent quality. Not for me as I have the Sigma and would have preferred a smaller f/2.8 version.

Is it just me or is it hard to keep track of new lenses from these newer Chinese-based manufacturers? They don't seem to do so many announcements, or at the very least they're not covered by much of the online photography news community.

7Art showed us a photo of their future 35/2.8 AF a month or more ago, but I've seen no information beyond that. Small is nice, but f/2 in aurora season is too.. Z04 975

A short walk along the Strunino with Meike 35/2.

Actually all are and work great as a set.

Was the camera Leica monochrome used?

I'm not into cars but they are photographic scope and a change from landscapes.

I've photos from every car I've owned usually in a landscape like my 2006 Renault Megane parked right beside Ireland's famous shipwreck "Bád Eddie" and also did with 35mm B&W film as it was dissolving and now almost gone. These photos become a historic look back in time for the car and boat.

Others of my first car, a £500 Proton 1.5SE from around year 2000 in a wasteland site in West Belfast where I lived was demolished and rebuilt. Not the sharpest on a Halina 35mm camera but have that filmic look and capture the time.

I love photos of older cars, but then I am into nostalgia in general. Old corner stores in original condition are also a favourite. Not as easy to find these days.

Yip buildings too...

Have a google of "bad eddie", it is a good story with loads of landscape photos, it"s a beautiful part of Ireland, remote Bortle 2-3 in places for astro. I'm been looking for a house there for a few years but prices have been rocketing as it's doscovered.

Could buy a beautiful 80k Atlantic view site and a 'Breaking Bad' RV and park it, Air BnB it :p

nice lens... I will hold on to my S35/1.8. If they make a small 28mm lens I might be interested !

I completely agree, having the S35/1.8 there is no reason to switch to this lens. Unless you have an urgent need for a couple hundred euros and you are ready to put up with some loss in image quality.

I can't decide what to take for my S9. Use this lens or through an adapter 7artisans M35/2 mk2 with manual focusing and a minimum distance of 0.7m. Both have soft corners, the weight is the same, the length is 90/60 mm. Both with bad highlights. The latter seems to be better than bokeh. I don't want a bulky one.
p/s
there is even a variant 7artisans 35/2 mk1 with a sonar circuit. for the same money.
