We have stormy weather here in Austria and I was just testing the Lumix's live view composite feature to photograph the rays... that went well, but I must have done something wrong because the village church is blurred... I can understand that the trees are blurred by the strong wind, but the Church at the bottom? Maybe I moved the tripod when I took the second set of photos... I don't know, any suggestions?

Tasman Bridge at Hobart in Tasmania.

This was taken off the back deck of our AirB&B, hand-held (I didn't bring a tripod) so it's high ISO and needed DxO Deep Prime XD3 to clean it up.

ooooh... I think I did not use the 2 seconds delay option... that can be the problem...

We are currently in Hobart, Tasmania for my youngest son's wedding which is on tomorrow, Saturday.

Today we had time for a trip to Bruny Island to the south of the city. The island is split into two parts joined by a narrow sandy neck in the middle. Access to Bruny Island is by a small ferry and only a 10 minute trip.

This is our green SUV on the small ferry.

This is Great Bay on North Bruny, facing south west. The wind was really strong here and very cold.

This photo was taken from the Truganini Lookout on "the neck" between the North and South Bruny, looking north.

This photo was also taken from the Truganini Lookout on "the neck", looking south towards South Bruny.

These were freebie photos I took at my first paid gig last month between the official opening and video portion. Thought they turned out decent for something I slapped together with a few minutes per person.

Good job Pete. I think I mentioned in a much earlier post that I've never made it to Tasmania, so I'm depending on you for photos. And congratulations to your son and bride.

I've only been to Tasmania once, and all too briefly. Wonderful place. Congrats to the bride & groom! :)
