News LK Samyang 60-180mm f/2.8 coming

LK Samyang have announced their third f/2.8 lens, a compact and relatively light (730g) 60-180mm.

No price given at the moment but I imagine it will be cheaper than the Lumix and Sigma 70-200s. Of course Sony E mount will be first but there will be an L-mount version at some point in the future.

Someone shared something in the Lumix Experience FB group yesterday that states that the 60-180mm will be available for the L-mount on the 27th of August 2026. I've no idea if that's backed up by anything from the company/companies.

I will wait a bit for reviews and then for the expected lumix version, but if it is good...

The E-mount version is around €1000 but looking at the existing LK-S zooms the L-mount versions tend to be a little more expensive, which is a shame.

That's an impressive weight saving if correct - the Tamron (e mount) 70-180 2.8 is 130 grams heavier, waiting with interest.
