Yes, I know that at f/4 or f/5.6 the dog's nose would have been in focus, but I didn't have much time to change parameters...
Thanks, George. I am sure the the Sigma 50mm f/1.2 is an outstanding lens. The Lumix (Leica) is as good as big and heavy hahahahaGreat capture.
The S-Pro 50 is super appealing to me. Although, with the Sigma 50/1.2 out now, I'm not sure I would make the leap. It would be interesting to see a comparison. If the S-Pro is like the Sony GM - which delivers nearly peak sharpness wide-open - then it would be worth it for me, even just for astro. The Sigma apparently needs to be stopped down to F2 (or even F2.8) to get "insane" levels of sharpness.
Great photo Xavier!Another one from yesterday with the S1Rii and the Lumix 14-28mm at 14mm, f/5.6, 1/250, ISO 80 and -2 exposure because I wanted to save the exposure of the sun. I raised the shadows with Capture One, I am trying the 3 moths free subscription and it is liking me, but I have to learn a lot yet. I have to try next time the "Highlight-weighted" metering mode in this situations.
Thanks, Pete!!Great photo Xavier!
