Today i went with my camera to the Hoornse stadsfeesten (weekend of local bands in the city where I live).

I filmed two bands where friends of us where in.

A younger band (Shizzle) and a older band (Barbie Legs Don't Band).

I went kitted like this:

Excellent rig, John!! I have the S5IIx with the same cage, top and side handle, ssd holder but another Rode Microphone. Which one is that? The sound is not bad at all.

All was filmed in 5.9K (Prores HQ) with rhe 35mm lens, and than zooned in at post.

Make sure you have enough depth of field to be able to do this.

Nice work!

For stereo audio I get pretty good results using the built-in mics, or better results using a pair of external mics. But obviously the latter requires more gack.

(The paper clip is for adjusting the mics’ sensitivity switches.)

I'm looking for a good second hand Sennheiser MKE 440 stereo mic for a nice price.
I don't do stereo recordings from bands that often, so i'm still waiting for the right moment..
