Thanks for letting me in. I’ve been a Fuji shooter for 10 years, but for an everyday carry camera I really wanted to try the lumix s9. The lut feature has so much potential! I work full time as an operations manager in a nonprofit, and I do a photo or video job every month or so to help pay the bills.

I may not participate much, but I’m looking forward to diving into the treasure trove of knowledge in here.

Welcome to LMF33, from Holland, the country :cool:

Hi @Ericopp and welcome!
I also have the S9 and Lumix 18-40mm, and I also use a number of the Sigma Contemporary lenses.

Greetings! Glad to see another Michigander (good friend of mine is from there and I was up at Mackinac last year for his wedding) here; @The Rigger is also from there.

What sort of things do you enjoy shooting? Hopefully rewarding for the amount of time you can spend on them.

Welcome! Benn to many US states over the years, but never MI. Closest I got was Chicago. But I have seen it from the shores of Lake Michigan.

Nice! Both sets of my grandparents moved from the Netherlands when they were children. I’d love to visit someday and see Keukenhof Gardens. We have our own “ Tulip Time” festival here, but I want to go to the source.
Only been to the Keukenhof as a kid... @Nevyn72 lives near Lisse (seen from my location he is very near :cool: ) each year I think about going there for a photo trip but then postpone it, forget a while about it and when I check it again I discover that I'm too late already. It's quite a trip for me.

Closest for me to Lake Michigan was Lake Erie in Buffalo after visiting the Niagara Falls.

Sweet! I’m a big hiker, I just like having a camera with me when I’m out and about. When I first got a camera I was chasing a lot of sunsets and sunrises and epic weather, but now it’s just trying to appreciate and document whatever strikes me. If I’m being hired, I like events.

Sounds like what I like to do; carry a camera with me, keep an eye out for interesting things, and shoot when something looks good. Occasionally, I get to do really nice things like the Mackinac (and Kalamazoo Air Zoo and Ford Museum) trip, and then I go to town. ^^;;

Looking forward to pics!
