I am a retired pro photographer/videographer who now enjoys casual photography and a little bit of songwriting. I just bought into the L-mount with the S1RII. I previously owned the S1. Hopefully I can contribute to this forum. Thanks

What do you enjoy shooting? We always look forward to new photos, to the point where the forum has a custom emoji for new pics. ^_- There's a monthly photo thread where everyone's encouraged to post, and various individual threads; @RuleOfThirds has a free-association thread running here, for example.

Welcome Atlasman. I hope you enjoy the S1RII. I've had mine three weeks now and find it a real pleasure to shoot with.
 
I’ve not seen any reviews recommending the s1rii for songwriting, but welcome to LMF and I hope that within LMF you can find inspiration for your songwriting! There is a lot of praise here for gear… but somehow the singing is missing a bit.
